Joomla templates and offshore programming.

Sagewing is moving into the downloadable document (e-books, document templates, etc.) business and is looking for a great resource to recreate our website content and devise and execute marketing strategy for this new direction. This resource will have documented success marketing websites, ideally using Adwords or similar PPC campaigns. We expect an initial six-month effort to develop and refine both the website and the advertising campaign for starters. We plan to expand our product line rapidly so a successful marketing resource can expect ongoing work with this project.

The objectives for this position are:

1. We will provide a description of our new product line, which consists of downloadable assets geared towards a clearly defined audience. Using our existing site (which is on the Joomla platform and is already configured for e-commerce) you will rewrite the site copy, navigation, and content to best support this new product line.

     a. If you are inexperienced with Joomla but are willing to learn, we will provide support.

     b. Our existing client list and testimonials (we have many more) can be modified and used on the new site

     c. The design and layout will not need to be changed – this is content and copy only.

     d. We will provide all products in ready-to-sell format, and will handle all technical aspects of the shopping cart and CMS

2. Once the site is ready, you will create a PPC or other online campaign and refine it over a period of several months.

     a. Use of landing pages, split-testing, conversion reporting, and other advanced reporting tools is mandatory is we seek to reach a confirmed positive return on advertising investment

     b. An autoresponder/list campaign must be written and integrated into iContact.com, which is already configured and active with our site. Our existing list is well targeted to our audience and can be used as an effective starting point. A content and mailing plan/schedule should be written/created and executed.

3. This project should be priced on a project basis, a per-month basis, or at an hourly rate. One a positive ROI is established where we can confirm a positive return on total advertising spend, we can add in a commission basis and you may seek to expand sales to increase commissions.

     1. Agree to a realistic project schedule and duration of approximately 4-6 month.

     2. Provide a basic outline of their plans with regard to rewriting the site and creating the autoresponder/ppc campaigns.

     3. Provide status reports on a monthly basis

     4. Provide all copy to Sagewing representatives via e-mail for approval, then take responsibility for loading that copy into the site with our technical support as needed.

     5. Invoicing will occur monthly and payment will be made within 15 days.  You may invoice for a deposit or advance payment if need be. All work is to be performed on a contracted corp-to-corp or 1099 basis.
